Mastering Clan Boss Mechanics with Alsgor Crimsonhorn Team Comps
Pushing for maximum damage on Ultra-Nightmare (UNM) Clan Boss is the ultimate daily milestone in Raid: Shadow Legends. Surviving all 50 turns requires flawless execution, precise speed tuning, and heavily optimized gear distributions. If you have pulled Alsgor Crimsonhorn, setting up a seamless Block Damage rotation fundamentally changes how you approach the Demon Lord, completely removing the need for defensive stats on your primary damage dealers.
When you combine Alsgor's unique kit with a tightly tuned core of Razelvarg, Deacon Armstrong, Ezio, Kael, and Tagoar, you create an engine that cycles turns relentlessly while keeping the boss's damage output at an absolute zero.
The 50-Turn Survival Core
Building an "Unkillable" style team means every single turn must happen in an exact, predictable sequence. The backbone of this composition relies on mapping ability cooldowns directly against the Clan Boss's Area-of-Effect (AoE) strikes.
Alsgor Crimsonhorn (The Anchor)
Alsgor fundamentally dictates the survival of the team. His A3, Resounding Rally, places a 2-turn Block Damage buff on the entire team while fully healing a target ally. When booked down to a 4-turn cooldown and speed-tuned correctly, this ability will perfectly blanket the team during both of the Clan Boss's devastating AoE attacks. Furthermore, his A1 has a chance to extend debuffs, adding slight but valuable synergy with your poisoners.
Razelvarg & Deacon Armstrong (The Engine)
Razelvarg is the crucial speed lead and buffer. Because his passive constantly increases his own speed as the fight drags on, he dramatically lowers the speed threshold required for the rest of your gear. Paired with Deacon Armstrong's A3 Turn Meter manipulation and A2 Decrease Defense, your team will lap the Demon Lord, allowing you to drop Speed boots for ATK% boots on your heaviest hitters.
Kael, Ezio & Tagoar (Damage & Utility)
While often viewed as an early-game champion, Kael's raw poison density on his A3 remains incredibly lethal when he is allowed to attack with zero fear of dying. Ezio operates as the heavy single-target executioner, capitalizing entirely on Deacon's defense drops. Finally, Tagoar acts as the ultimate safety net; his Increase Speed, shielding, and healing ensure that whoever takes the Clan Boss's single-target stun survives the impact.
Mastery Rules & Optimization
Because Alsgor's Block Damage negates the incoming hits, you must completely abandon defensive and support masteries that alter turn meter. If a champion unexpectedly gains Turn Meter, they will outrun the Block Damage buff and immediately die to the next AoE.
- Avoid Turn Meter Masteries: Absolutely no Arcane Celerity, Rapid Response, or Cycle of Magic. Predictability is everything.
- Maximize the Offense Tree: Path straight down to Warmaster or Giant Slayer for every champion on the roster. In a 50-turn unkillable fight, mastery procs account for millions of points of damage.
- Account for Razelvarg's Passive: When inputting your speeds into a Clan Boss calculator, you must account for Razelvarg’s fully stacked passive speed to ensure the turn order remains locked in from round 5 all the way through round 50.
By shifting all gear substats away from HP and Defense and heavily into 100% Critical Rate and maximum Critical Damage, this composition easily transitions from a consistent UNM clearer to a highly efficient 2-Key (or even 1-Key) powerhouse.
